People don’t buy products.
People buy solutions that get them to their desired outcomes.
When we design great stores, we don’t talk about how great the product is.
We talk about how great the product is for your customer’s desired outcome.

Every person has a vision of a life they desire to live.
Our products are the vehicles that take them from their current self to their desired self.
What does this mean for your store?
Instead of simply promoting your products design everything to answer “what’s in it for them”.

Above are two examples of the framework in action.
If Duradry (left) was a beginner they would have probably said “Non-toxic deodorant”.
For Gleamin (right) it might have been “Dermatologist-approved skincare”.
How can you use this framework?
Spend more time picturing your customer’s dream outcome than promoting your product.
Then position your product as the vehicle that gets them there.
